COVID-19 outbreak and RTAC-2020

Dear Colleagues!

As you know, the COVID-19 outbreak has resulted in the cancellation of many events that were planned for March and April, and rapidly changing travel conditions around the world. As you may have questions about the status of RTAC-2020 conference in July, we wanted to provide you with an update.

The health, safety and well-being of our participants, speakers, partners, supporters and staff is our top priority. At this time, with the conference over 4 months away, we are closely monitoring the situation which is changing every day. We are also aware of travel restrictions that have been put into place by various governments and organizations. In this regard we have made a decision to postpone RTAC-2020. We will stay in touch about the dates of the conference.
Due to these uncertainties, we have not yet opened the payment of registration fees. Payment deadlines will also be extended.

In a few days we are going to provide our participants with the results of their abstract reviews. Additionally, depending on review results selected authors of submissions satisfied the requirements of Russian Journal of Physical Chemistry A will receive personal emails to invite for publishing. Although their manuscripts will be prioritised, all participants can also make decisions about sending submissions to the journal. However, only papers that have successfully passed the peer-review process will be published.
Submission deadline to the special issue of Russian Journal of Physical Chemistry A has been extended to April 15. Please send your papers to rtac2020@chem.msu.ru. All manuscripts should be written in English. For further details, please visit journal WEBSITE.

In the meantime, we encourage everyone to follow precautionary and health hygiene measures and to use their discretion when participating in any public event.

Thank you for your understanding!

Best regards,
Prof. Vladimir K. Ivanov,
Prof. Stepan N. Kalmykov,
